- Summer AmeriCorps members serve throughout Montana
- Members serve on a full time daily basis for 10 weeks
- Service term: Early June-Mid August
- Positions include both direct and indirect service
- Positions include a variety of projects such as addressing summer learning loss; and summer meal programs in K-12 schools, college campuses, nonprofits, and community organizations.
- Cost: $1,000 per member

MTCC affiliate campuses and their partners are encouraged to apply to host an MTCC AmeriCorps Team to support college attainment and success programming. MTCC AmeriCorps teams are dedicated to encouraging students and families to consider, plan for, and apply for post secondary education.
MTCC AmeriCorps Team Priority Areas: Applications will be ranked according to the following priority area:
- High School Coaches mentoring and supporting Junior and Seniors to consider, plan for, and apply for post secondary education. Enhancing the college going culture of Montana high schools. Program Design and curriculum will be provided.
- College Success and Retention mentoring and supporting college students.

Submission instructions: Required Supporting Documents must be submitted with signatures at this time. Submissions received after the priority deadline will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Funding priority will be given to applications arriving by the deadline.

- September 1, 2022: AmeriCorpps Member service begins. Pre-Service Orientation for AmeriCorps Leaders occurs during the first five days of service.

Are you interested in AmeriCorps service during the summer? Please submit some basic contact information so that MTCC can reach you when these positions are announced.
Summer AmeriCorps is a 10-week commitment (June-August). You can expect to serve with a Montana nonprofit or school and to receive a modest living allowance and education award for your service.
We look forward to reviewing your application for AmeriCorps service in the beautiful state of Montana. Positions begin on September 1st and November 7th. All positions conclude one calendar year after the start-date. MTCC staff meet to determine placements for candidates each week on Wednesday, meaning that year-long positions can be filled at any time. It is recommended that you submit your application no later than Tuesday of the current week if you would like to have the best chance of being considered for a service site placement on the following Wednesday.
An application will only be considered complete when MTCC has received this form via Submittable in addition to an application submitted via My AmeriCorps. The My AmeriCorps listing to which you submit an application does not matter, so long as it is for a Montana Campus Compact AmeriCorps project. For example, you may submit to this listing.
