Background

Project proposals are now being accepted from college and unviersity campuses (and partnering schools, government and nonprofits) interested in hosting one or more AmeriCorps VISTA members during the 2023-2024 service year. These year-long projects can be scheduled to take place either from June 2023 to June 2024 or August 2023 to August 2024. MTCC AmeriCorps VISTA places national service members with Montana schools, colleges, nonprofits, and government agencies in order to build organizational efficiency, efficacy, and program reach by completing one-year, capacity building projects. The MTCC VISTA priority areas are: College Access & Success, K-12 Success or School Readiness, Community Resilience (including climate change resilience), and Veterans & Military Families.

Negotiations conclude for June 2023 projects - January 20, 2023

Deadline for June 2023 projects to submit their "VISTA Position Details Form" - February 3, 2023
