Background
 Project proposals are now being accepted from organizations interested in hosting one or more AmeriCorps members during the 2024-2025 term. These eleven month long projects are scheduled to take place from September 3, 2024 through July 31, 2025.  MTCC AmeriCorps places national service members with Montana schools, colleges, nonprofits, and government agencies in order to assist low income and first generation college students in college completion, build organizational capacity, and increase food security among low-income individuals. The MTCC AmeriCorps priority areas are: college completion and persistence, capacity building related to college persistence, and addressing food insecurity among college students and their communities.

Deadline to propose projects - January 21, 2024
Recruitment period for AmeriCorps members - February 5, 2024 - August 9, 2024
Recruitment deadline - August 9, 2024 (This is to ensure that MTCC has enough time to get all members onboarding so they are ready to begin service on September 3, 2024)
Enrollment period - June 1, 2024 - August 31, 2024 MTCC works to move candidates through the AmeriCorps enrollment process)
Project Period - September 3, 2024 - July 31, 2025
